About The Author
Susan Henke Goslak
The author, Sue, was born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Being the oldest of four children taught her early on about responsibility. She graduated from Thiel College with a degree in art, married, and had three children. She graduated from Duquesne University with a master’s degree in education and took postgraduate courses at the University of Pittsburgh, the University of Toledo, and Bowling Green State University. Sue taught elementary school, was a librarian, and was one of the first teachers to earn National Board Certification. She was honored to be nominated for the ‘Disney Teacher of the Year Award.’
Sue has lived in Pennsylvania, Colorado, Texas, and Germany. She now lives in Ohio with her husband, her special-needs daughter, and her cat, Bowie. She is proud of her seven grandchildren.
